Pursuant to our announcement dated 13th May 2022 (Ref No .: BSD - EXPATS - ANNC - MDEC– 178 D20220513), we would like to remind that effective 1st July 2022 companies are required to ensure all applications are with a VALID pass prior to submission of approval and endorsement. Please take immediate action for applications with expired pass validity. This is to prevent Foreign Knowledge Workers (FKW) from being subject to any action under the Immigration Act, penalties or deported by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Therefore, we encourage all companies to plan and monitor your application in advance so that the application process runs smoothly and to avoid unwanted/unnecessary situations.
