With immediate effect, following are the new updates from Immigration Malaysia:

1) New Immigration charges for Long Term Social Visit Pass(SVP)

Immigration charges for Long Term Social Visit Pass has been changed from RM50 per month to RM90 per year. Please take note that duration of stay will remain as 12 months for every submission.

2) Age limit for Long Term Social Visit Pass(SVP) for children above 18 years old

The maximum age limit for application of children above 18 years old (except for disable children) has been set up to 25 years old. Age above than this is not eligible to apply for Long Term Social Visit Pass.

3) Transfer of Endorsement (TOE)

Any Foreign Knowledge Worker (FKW) and the dependents who obtain a new passport while current pass (Employment Pass/Dependent Pass/Social Visit Pass) is still valid, transfer of endorsement is COMPULSORY. For your info, the current pass in the old passport become invalid once the old passport is cancelled.

As such, please proceed with transfer of endorsement immediately after obtaining the new passport to avoid any hassle.
