In support of the above, the Digital Up initiative encourages the Malaysian workforce to reskill and upskill themselves in Digital Technology related courses or certifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
For participants/trainees:
- Malaysian citizens.
- Age from 21 – 55 years old.
- Currently employed, unemployed, fresh graduate, or gig workers.
- Meet the selected training prerequisites.
- Must not be MDEC’s staff/board directors or employees.
For Track 2, eligible courses are offered via Training Providers under MDEC Digital Skills Training Directory (Work & Learn category).
Kindly refer to the details of the training fee in the table above:
- For Track 1, (if applicable) payment is required for the remaining training fee (discounted fee).
- For Track 2, applicants/trainees are required to pay the full training fee upfront and submit a claim for reimbursement upon completion of the training (up to RM2,500.00)
For Track 2, the incentive will be credited to eligible applicants/trainees.
For Track 1:
