  • Special Pass requirement

The Immigration Department of Malaysia has agreed to grant Special Pass exemption for long-term social visit passes / employment passes that have expired during the period of Movement Control Order (MCO) until 31 December 2021. As such, with immediate effect, all new and renewal applications of Employment Pass including the dependent applications which have been approved and the latest pass have expired due to closure of the centre and absence of appointment slots, may proceed with passport endorsement without Special Pass at eXpats Service Centre. As the centre will be operating with minimal staff based on the stipulated MCO SOPs, please expect some delays in processing of endorsement application.

Yours sincerely,
