In line with the announcement made by the Expatriate Service Division (ESD) of the Immigration Department on 14th November 2022, https://esd.imi.gov.my/portal/latest-news/announcement/myxpats-epass-briefing-2022/ on the introduction of Electronic Pass (ePASS), please be informed that effective from 17th March 2023, ePASS will be issued for RENEWAL APPLICATION of Foreign Knowledge Worker (FKW) including their dependent/s.

 

With the implementation of the new feature, company may download and print the ePASS from the system. Please take note on the additional information for ePASS:

 

• The Foreign Knowledge Worker (FKW) including their dependent/s MUST ensure that the ePASS is attached to the passport as identification at all times.

 

• The ePASS will be issued for the Foreign Knowledge Worker (FKW) including their dependent/s that are currently in Malaysia and the latest pass was endorsed in the same passport.
