Following the Malaysian government's announcement, the Sales & Service Tax (SST) rate will increase from 6% to 8% effective 1st March 2024. Consequently, this new SST rate will be implemented on MDEC processing fees from March 1st onwards. 

 

The Expats system and website will be updated to reflect these changes.
