The Digital Games Testbed Programme (DGTP) is an incentive of up to RM700,000 provided to support local companies to diversify and grow their IP portfolios by developing games based on new or existing unpublished products (new genre is encouraged), while enhancing co-development opportunities, collaboration, and knowledge transfer with Publisher.
Only local game developers or companies that have secured a publishing deal (either with a local or international game publisher) are eligible to apply. Proof of interest from publisher must be submitted as part of the application process.
Any formal publishing agreement with a recognised game publisher is acceptable. This can include agreements for PC, console, or mobile platforms.
