Place & Train is an initiative designed to incentivise unemployed Malaysians to gain employment and training in digital jobs. Its primary objective is to place unemployed Malaysians in high-demand digital skill positions. Incentives are provided through MDEC's Partners.
Place & Train offers job placement and training incentives to unemployed Malaysians.
- Malaysian citizens either unemployed OR unemployed graduate OR retrenched employees.
- Age between 21 – 45 years old
- Meet the specified hiring prerequisites.
- Not a beneficiary of other MDEC programs/initiatives for the current year.
The eligible Malaysians are invited to apply HERE before 31st August 2024. After finding your desired jobs, click on the 'APPLY' button, which will redirect you to another third-party webpage. Please note that you may need to register on these third-party web pages to proceed with your job applications.
Place & Train offers digital tech related jobs.
Place & Train offers digital tech training that aligns with the jobs. The training will be selected by the Partners once you are hired, and it is compulsory for participants to complete the training.
The applicants are not charged for the training.
The eligible applicants who are shortlisted will be contacted by the Partners for an assessment or an interview session.
The application status will correspond within 14 working days of submitting the completed application. Incomplete applications will be rejected, and applicants will be notified via email.
The job placement is not guaranteed. Applicants need to go through the hiring process conducted by the Partners, and only successful candidates will be hired. Once you submit the completed application, the Partners will conduct due diligence. If your application is selected, you will be contacted by the Partners for an assessment or an interview session. Upon successfully passing the assessment or interview, you will be hired. It is up to the companies to determine the final hiring decision based on the outcomes of the assessment or interview session.
You are required to review the terms and conditions outlined in the offer letter or agreement upon accepting the job offer. Any details concerning penalties or consequences related to non-completion of the placement and training will be specified in the offer letter or agreement. It is crucial for applicants to adhere to these terms upon their successful hiring.
