The SEA Kre8tif! Awards is a platform to seek and recognise the talents of animation content creators and awarding them for their outstanding work.
Announcement of the winners will be announced during SEA Creative Awards Night: SEA Kre8tif! Awards 2024, tentatively scheduled on 2 October 2024 at Auditorium Connexion Conference & Event Centre.
Award Categories
BEST ANIMATION SHORTS – PROFESSIONAL
This category is open for animation content that has a running time of 15 minutes or less.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST ANIMATION SHORTS - STUDENT
This category is open for students that are still in the academic term and have not graduated, with animation content that has a running time of 15 minutes or less.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST ANIMATION TECHNICAL
This category is open for animation content that features technical demonstrations that has a running time of 15 minutes or less.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST PRODUCTION DESIGN FOR ANIMATION
This category is open for animation content that features achievements of art direction featured in the work
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST AUDIO DESIGN
Overall excellence of audio in the animation inclusive of sound effects, musical composition & score, original song, licensed soundtrack, sound design, orchestration etc.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST ANIMATED VFX
This category is open for broadcasted TV commercials that have full or partial animation or VFX content elements that deliver the best visual experience.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST ANIMATION MOTION GRAPHICS
This category is open for animation content that features motion graphics to narrate their content instead of standard animation
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECINTERNATIONAL ANIMATION AWARDS
This category is open for animation content submitted from all countries except from Southeast Asian countries. The awards look into the overall story, design, audio & visual delivery of the animation content that achieves the best content experience.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any Southeast Asia Countries; and NOT an employee or director of MDECBEST FEATURE FILM
This category is open for animation content that is a feature film submitted from all countries. The award look into the overall story, design, audio & visual delivery of the animation content that achieves the best feature film.
Eligibility:
A citizen of any country and NOT an employee or director of MDECSEA KRE8TIF! AWARD 2023 CAREMONY
