Overview:
Energy consumption of chiller plant remains a significant expense (60–70% of total energy consumption) for an office building.
The chiller plant in Menara HLX consumes more than 60% of total energy consumption in the building. We seamlessly integrate IoT devices, sensors, and AI optimisation (ADF OMNI) to lower the chiller plant energy consumption (20% saving) with greater efficiency and increase asset lifespan and performance efficiency.
Pain Points:
Air conditioning systems often consume the most energy from manufacturing plants to commercial buildings, such as shopping malls and hotels. In order to shift towards more sustainable practices, energy reduction on the most energy-consuming system is mandatory.
Solution/Services:
ADF OMNI
ADF OMNI is deployed for the AI optimisation in the chiller plant. ADF OMNI is applying a data driven approach to enhance building performance. ADF OMNI is using deep learning and optimization algorithms in chiller plant systems to predict the building load and energy performance to reduce consumption, resulting in efficiency enhancement, extended equipment lifespan, significant energy savings, improved sustainability, and reduced operational expenses.
Key Features and Functionalities
• Gain Insights
• AI & Deep Learning
• Energy Management System
• Fault Detection & Diagnostics
• Optimisation
• Increase Efficiency & Performance
• Reporting
Implementation:
• ADF OMNI is implemented on top of the building management system to convert the building management system to Smart Building. It is integrated with existing/new building management systems to capture required data for analysis and machine learning and optimise the control through existing/new building management systems.
• ADF OMNI is cloud-based AI optimisation software that requires data to be able to send to the cloud for optimisation
• Understanding of the existing building management system configuration is required to identify the parameters to capture and add on IoT devices to enhance the optimisation.
Benefit:
The energy savings for the chiller plant after the deployment of the AI optimisation is around 20%.
