Overview:

FINEXUS provided a comprehensive bank-grade solution for B2C sellers, addressing e-Invoicing challenges. By integrating Kayaaku POS and AREMA API, we enabled electronic payments, real-time e-Invoicing, and 7 years of PPID data protection. For Micro Enterprises, our Mini POS menu and voice-to-e-Invoice feature streamline SKU data capture, ensuring efficient and secure operations for all sellers and buyers.

Pain Points:

1. Limited understanding among cashier staff on how to issue e-Invoices correctly according to LHDN requirements
2. Delays at cashier counters while obtaining buyer data for validated e-Invoices
3. Additional processing overheads to guide buyers in obtaining validated e-Invoices
4. Customer concerns about providing personal data in a public setting at the seller's store.
5. Lack of POS systems, particularly in Micro-Enterprise Sellers, capable of furnishing SKU data for instant individual e-Invoice issuance
6. Insufficient expertise and resources at seller and POS systems to ensure the availability and security of confidential invoice and PPID data

Key Features and Functionalities

For Sellers with POS Systems:
•    POS system vendors can integrate FINEXUS for both electronic payment and e-Invoice API services, enabling essential e-Invoice functions in near real-time. The invoice data and payment methods are seamlessly transmitted from the POS system to FINEXUS via various connectivity options such as Bluetooth, TCP/IP, legacy Serial RS232, MDB/RS485, and etc.
•    Credit Notes and Refund Notes are automatically generated based on adjustments made to the original invoice. Unclaimed e-Invoices are automatically consolidated by the cutoff time and submitted to the LHDN system without requiring manual intervention.
•    FINEXUS assists sellers and POS systems in safeguarding sensitive PPID data within a dual-zone bank-grade IT infrastructure.

For Sellers without POS Systems (Typically Micro Enterprises):
•    Sellers can utilize the FINEXUS Mini POS menu on the FINEXUS Payment Terminal (EDC) to capture SKU data and generate individual e-Invoices.
•    To expedite SKU capturing, Micro Enterprises can use the voice-to-e-Invoice feature on the payment terminal, allowing them to issue e-Invoices efficiently by simply stating the SKU item and quantity.
•    Credit Notes, Refund Notes, and Consolidated e-Invoices are automatically issued by the FINEXUS system without requiring any intervention from the seller.

Implementation:

Implementation for Seller with POS System:
• POS system vendors should sign up as FINEXUS Merchant Recruitment Agents to provide merchants (sellers) with FINEXUS e-Invoice and payment processing services by integrating their POS systems with FINEXUS payment devices and APIs.
• There is no impact on the merchant's operations, as bills and invoices will be printed as usual. Customers can obtain validated e-Invoices without causing delays at the cashier by simply scanning the QR code on the bill to obtain the validated e-Invoice. Payment collection is expedited and accurate, with payment amounts sent directly to the payment terminals and invoice data submitted in the background in a near real-time manner, eliminating additional handling for the merchant.

Implementation for Sellers Without POS System:
• Sellers simply sign up as FINEXUS electronic payment merchants and utilize the app on the payment terminal or their own mobile device to issue an e-invoice.
• The customer simply scans the QR code on the printed sales slips to obtain the validated e-Invoice.

Benefit:

• The FINEXUS AREMA B2C solution ensures compliance with LHDN requirements by enabling immediate issuance of validated e-Invoices after payment, providing a seamless experience.

• Key productivity gains for sellers include:
(i) 2.5 minutes saved: No need to manually capture customer data for each e-Invoice, reducing cashier queue times.
(ii) 6 seconds saved: Eliminates manual entry and verification of payment amounts at the terminal.
(iii) 3 seconds saved: Automates the update of payment status in the POS system.
