Eligibility Criteria
Must be a subject matter expert in one (1) of the areas below with the following minimum years of experience:

MIEC is a group of selected industry experts in the game, animation, NFT, blockchain/DAO, metaverse, Web2/Web3, creative technologies (AR/VR/MR/XR), legal, venture capital, and other areas related to metaverse initiatives.
The focus areas of expertise are including but not limited to animation, game, NFT, Blockchain/DAO, Metaverse, Web2/Web3, Creative Technology (AR/VR/MR/XR), Legal, and Venture Capital.
To provide insights, best practices, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders for the metaverse initiative led by MDEC.
Must be a subject matter expert in one (1) of the areas below with the following minimum years of experience:
- Animation: > 5 years
- Game: > 5 years
- NFT: > 3 years
- Blockchain/DAO: > 3 years
- Metaverse: > 2 years
- Web2/Web 3: > 2 years
- Creative Technologies (AR/VR/MR/XR): > 3 years
- Legal: > 3 years
- Venture Capital: > 3 years

The MIEC shall hold the meeting as when required, but is expected to hold around 3-6 sessions per year for the first year with subsequent years to be determined by MDEC on a needs basis
The term of membership is for two (2) years from the date of the Appointment Letter.
It is not permissible for an MIEC member to be replaced by another individual to attend a meeting on their behalf.
Please submit your application by 15 June 2023
The member may terminate the appointment at any time during the duration of appointment giving a prior written notice of one (1) month to MDEC.
Attendance at a meeting may be in person or by way of participation via video conference, teleconference or such other means as may be agreed by the MIEC.
The successful applicant will be informed via email and the application process will take up to one (1) month from the closing date.
