Commencing her career at Ernst & Young, she specialised in auditing diverse industries such as trading, retail, manufacturing, investment holding, and government-privatised highway infrastructure. This foundational experience equipped her with a deep understanding of financial intricacies and industry dynamics, laying the groundwork for her subsequent leadership roles.

Upon joining MDEC, Nik Amalina assumed pivotal position within the Finance Department, showcasing her expertise in compliance, strategic planning, and financial management.
