Dear Esteemed Stakeholders,

We are pleased to announce that MDEC has successfully certified with the ISO 37001:2016 ABMS, a globally recognised standard that sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an effective anti-bribery management system.

The certification issued by United Certification Services Sdn. Bhd. (UNICERT) is effective from 20 December 2025 and valid until 19 December 2028 (3 years), reflects the MDEC’s unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity transparency, and ethical business conduct across all businesses and operations.

This achievement is not only a testament to the robustness of MDEC internal management system but also underscores the collective efforts, commitment, and vigilance of our employees, management, and stakeholders who have consistently upheld and championed the values of integrity and compliance. It reinforces our zero-tolerance stance towards bribery and corruption, and our dedication to fostering a strong culture of ethics and good governance throughout MDEC.

As part of MDEC's continuous efforts to strengthen good governance practices and ensure compliance with internationally recognised standards, MDEC is currently undertaking the transition of the ABMS certification from ISO 37001:2016 to the newly published ISO 37001:2025 standard. This transition reflects MDEC's ongoing commitment in enhancing our governance to align with the evolving international best practices in managing the anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters.
