Datuk Fadzli Abdul Wahit is currently the Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs of MDEC.
Prior to joining MDEC, Datuk Fadzli was the Partner/Executive Director for the Management Consulting Practice of KPMG Business Advisory (Head of Government Sector), KPMG Malaysia.
Datuk Fadzli Abdul Wahit has over 30 years’ experience in advising government and semi- government in Malaysia as well as abroad, and his main areas of specialisation are in Corporate Transformation and Restructuring, Policy Development, Economic and Feasibility Study, Strategy Planning & Advisory. His breadth of expertise has helped various stakeholders and partnership between government sectors and large corporations. He has also led several successful projects relating to Information Technology, Organisational Culture, Project Management, Strategy and Business Process, and Human Resources.
Amongst his past professional experience includes stints at Coopers & Lybrand Management Consulting, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and RHB Sakura Merchant Bank.
In 2014, Datuk Fadzli Abdul Wahit was an appointed Board Member of Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDN) / Inland Revenue Board (IRB), for a tenure of two terms (four years), and he is currently an Adjunct Professor to DRB Hi-Com University, where he is actively conducting seminars and lectures on areas of strategic and operational management.
Datuk Fadzli Abdul Wahit received his education both in Malaysia and United Kingdom. He began his tertiary education at Institute Technology MARA (ITM), graduating with a Diploma in Accountancy. He then pursued his education at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, where he successfully completed both his Degree and Masters in Accounting.
