KUALA LUMPUR, 24 October 2024 – The Ministry of Digital (KD), through the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the nation’s leading digital economy agency, proudly launched the Malaysia Digital Xceleration (MDX) Summit 2024 today at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). Officiated by the Minister of Digital, YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, this summit underscores Malaysia’s rising influence as a digital powerhouse within the ASEAN region.
Centred around five transformative next-generation technologies – Data Trust, Next-Gen Computing, Computer Vision, Metaverse, and Digital Twins – MDX Summit 2024 brings together industry leaders to shape the future of Malaysia’s digital landscape, further solidifying the nation's leadership in digital innovation across Southeast Asia.
Aligned with the Ministry of Digital's forward-looking vision, the summit emphasizes the urgency of adopting advanced technologies. It highlights Malaysia’s resolve to strengthen its economic resilience and secure a competitive edge on the global stage through cutting-edge digital transformation.
Scheduled for two days, from 24 to 25 October 2024, participants will explore an expansive agenda, including keynote addresses, panel discussions, exhibitions, and invaluable networking opportunities. The event is set to welcome over 3,000 attendees, including global investors, entrepreneurs, startups, policymakers, and digital professionals, all eager to engage in meaningful dialogue that will shape Malaysia’s digital economy.
