MDEC AIMS TO ATTRACT RM300 MILLION OF EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES AT GITEX GLOBAL AND ENS 2024

Dubai, 12 October 2024—The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) will showcase the country's robust digital economy at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) Global & Expand North Star (ENS) 2024 in Dubai. This significant event highlights MDEC’s mission to position Malaysia as a leading digital investment hub in Southeast Asia and a key player in the global digital economy.

 

MDEC is leading a delegation of 15 prominent Malaysian technology companies (OmniNexus, Codon Genomics, ProximaX Malaysia, Wilstech, Vero Eco, Moovby, MDT Innovations, Forest Interactive, REDtone, Xanderia, TrackerHero, Kasatria Technologies, Paywatch, GoFluence and Numa Solution), emphasising Malaysia’s advanced digital infrastructure and innovation-driven capabilities. This initiative aims to generate RM300 million in export opportunities across the MENA and GCC regions, significantly enhancing Malaysia's presence in these markets.

 

In addition to promoting Malaysian tech companies, MDEC seeks to strengthen bilateral trade relations between Malaysia and Dubai by exploring new collaboration avenues within their respective tech ecosystems.

 

MDEC’s participation in GITEX Global & ENS  2024 is designed to showcase Malaysia’s vibrant tech sector and position the country as a destination for digital transformation.
