21 October 2020
Dear Valued Clients,
Greetings from eXpats Service Centre!
We refer to the recent announcement made by the Government of Malaysia on CONDITIONAL MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (CMCO) for employees in the private and public sectors from Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya to work from home starting Thursday, 22 October 2020. Please be informed that the Front Counter service of eXpats Service Centre Cyberjaya including Immigration Unit (Expatriate Services) in MDEC will be closed from tomorrow, 22nd October 2020 until 27th October 2020. However, the centre is still open for collection of endorsed passports until Friday, 23rd October 2020 from 8.00am until 12.00noon only. As such, we encourage companies to walk-in to our centre for collection of passports latest by Friday and to observe the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) imposed by the authorities to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Front Counter service may resume on 28th October 2020 or after the Conditional Movement Control Order has ended.
In addition, during this period:
- Online application of Approval Stage will continue to be processed.
- Online appointment that has been booked will be automatically cancelled but companies may proceed to book new slot for 28th October 2020 onwards.
Should you require more information and assistance, please contact us via email at [email protected].
Your kind understanding is highly appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
eXpats Service Centre
