MDEC’s Let’s Learn Digital campaign partners with Coursera, availing free access to 3,800 courses including professional certificates for unemployed workers until 31 December 2020. This campaign is part of #MyDigitalWorkforce initiative to rally action for digital re-skilling of the Malaysian workforce. The campaign aims to encourage Malaysians to take up online courses on digital and data skills, especially those who are recently affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

Campaign starts from 1 May 2020 to 31 October 2020.

Until 31 December 2020

  • Without the campaign the cost for Coursera subscription is USD399/ year. Under the campaign, unemployed Malaysians can access most of Coursera contents at no cost until Dec 31 2020.

     
  • How much is the regular subscription?
  • The usual cost for Coursera is USD 399/ year.

     
  • I’m a student, can I join the campaign?
  • University students can check out https://www.coursera.org/campus for Coursera offerings for universities.

     
  • Training allowance will be credited directly to the EIS members that have already registered with EIS Portal and proven to have Loss of Employment (LOE).
  • For any inquiries, with regards to SOCSO training allowance, please contact the Training Unit, Employment Services Division, SOCSO Employment Insurance System Office.
