About the Revised Tax Regime
We wish to refer to our previous announcement dated 12 August 2021 regarding the submission deadline for the application for Transition Under Services Incentive.
Please be informed that the submission deadline for the application for Transition Under Services Incentive has been extended to 31 December 2021.
Extension of Tax Incentives under the Revised Regime
Subject to the approval of Transition under the Revised Regime, the application for extension of tax exemption period needs to be made not later than 30 days before your tax expiry date; no extension will be allowed.
Notes: Tier 3 companies may apply for extension of exemption period for second 5-year provided that the company applies to change to either Tier 1 or 2 and complies with the conditions imposed under the Tier 1 and Tier 2 by the expiry of the exemption period for first 5-year.
Application Submission
- Eligible companies must fulfil the new conditions as set out in the Guidelines.
- Companies intending to apply for transition under the Revised Regime must complete an online Application Form, Compliance Self Declaration Form (SDF) and submit the relevant supporting documents via the MSC Transition App by 31 December 2021.
