Mobile game won the Digital Indonesian League 2016 award in Jakarta.

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 February 2016 – It’s another slam dunk for Les Copaque as their mobile app Upin & Ipin Demi Metromillenium mobile game app scored the Digital Indonesian League 2016 award for the games category recently. The award was given by the event’s organizer Teknopreneur at the Mobile Developers Gathering 2016 held in Indonesia’s capital.
Upin & Ipin Demi Metromillenium is a 3D Run and Jump game where players take control of both Sergeant Upin & Ipin as they defend Metromillenium City from the evil Dr Sally and his eggbots. The game is a multi-national collaborative effort between Les’ Copaque Games Development Inc (Malaysia) and Agate Studio (Indonesia).
Congratulating the studio on the award, Mr. Hasnul Hadi, Director of Creative Multimedia at MDeC said, “Les Copaque has always been a great example of Malaysia’s talents and the Upin & Ipin game is a wonderful product that will inspire more multi-national collaborations as the ASEAN region grows as one big community within the creative industry. We wish the studios involved congratulations on the win and we look forward to more exciting games from them.”

A MSC-status company, Les Copaque was established in 2005 to spearhead Malaysia's animation industry and providing opportunities for the local graduates to showcase their talent. The award-winning studio first introduced the Upin & Ipin series in 2007 which lead to the culmination of multiple awards followed by an international debut on Disney Channel Asia in 2009.
